Education and Expertise
Originally from New York City, Dr. Rose grew up immersed in the fashion industry and spent years modeling while preparing for a career in medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College, her medical degree from Tufts University, and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Massachusetts in 2006.
After relocating to Austin, TX, with her husband and three children, Dr. Rose realized the impact her work lifestyle was having on her health and felt compelled to practice medicine the way she originally envisioned … providing personalized, focused, and deeply compassionate care. She pursued further training in complementary medicine, studying with Dr. Andrew Weil at the Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She later completed her certification as a Functional Medicine practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine, expanding her expertise in root-cause, patient-centered care.
