Immediate right DIEP flap, left breast augmentation for symmetry

This patient was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma of the right breast and opted for mastectomy followed by DIEP flap breast reconstruction. She also desired a larger breast size so an implant was placed on the left side during the same procedure. She unexpectedly needed radiation treatment after surgery but as you can see, her reconstruction withstood this treatment and she maintained reasonably good size and symmetry.
