Jennifer Mixson, FN-P

Jennifer Mixson, APRN, MSN, FNP-C, was born in Austin, and has lived in central Texas the majority of her life. She has over 12 years of nursing experience and has been practicing aesthetic nursing for the past five years. Jennifer started out as a Red Raider at Texas Tech University in which she received a bachelor’s degree in health education. She then went on to achieve her nursing goals and dreams where she started from the ground up and ultimately graduated with a Master’s of Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington. She was then recognized as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Jennifer started her nursing journey into women’s health and ultimately found herself as a labor and delivery nurse for the majority of her nursing career. However, once she obtained her Master’s degree, she found her love for aesthetics and transitioned into a new role. During the past five years as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, Jennifer has furthered her educational love in aesthetics and has attended multiple trainings and conferences that are specific to aesthetics. In 2019 she even learned the famous “Julie Horne Technique” for lips and continues to use the technique to this day. She has learned a lot since practicing in aesthetics and really loves to help the patient have the best experience and outcome. Jennifer has a passion in performing dermal filler treatments and her most favorite areas to inject include a combination of jawline, chin, and lips. She believes that those areas can truly provide the “wow” factor while also providing a subtle change that the patients truly love. She works hard to provide each patient with the best care that they deserve and is excited to talk about all your aesthetic needs.

Jennifer loves being a part of the Snyder Plastic Surgery team. She primarily practices at the Round Rock office where she will offer a variety of Med Spa services and aesthetic treatments, including:

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her four young children, going on date nights to eat Mexican food with her husband, going on long hikes, and bird watching.
