Immediate right unilateral DIEP flap breast reconstruction

This patient was diagnosed with right invasive ductal carcinoma. She opted for mastectomy and DIEP flap breast reconstruction. She ended up needing chemotherapy and radiation after surgery. As you can see in her photos, the reconstructed breast withstood radiation therapy well and maintained a good shape and reasonably good symmetry to her left breast.
