Delayed unilateral DIEP after initial implant reconstruction

This patient was diagnosed with left breast cancer and underwent mastectomy and chemotherapy. She then proceeded to have an implant based reconstruction. When this was completed, she was dissatisfied with her outcome and chose to abandon this reconstruction for a delayed DIEP flap. She also underwent a right reduction/lift for symmetry. She is very satisfied with her reconstructive outcome after converting to a DIEP flap.
