Delayed DIEP flap after Dissatisfactory Implant Reconstruction

This patient was previously underwent bilateral mastectomies followed by implant reconstruction done elsewhere. She consulted with Dr. Snyder as she was very unhappy with her results. Dr. Snyder removed her implants and performed a delayed bilateral DIEP flap breast reconstruction. The patient is extremely pleased with her new reconstruction results. As you can see in her photos, skin from her abdomen was oriented along the underside of her breasts to improve the overall shape and size of her reconstruction.
